Cash Flow / SUMMIT PERSPECTIVES
Why Revenue Growth Does Not Always Mean Better Cash Flow
Growth on paper and money available are different conversations.

Separate profit from cash
A revenue figure describes part of the business story. It does not, by itself, show the timing of money received and paid. A cash view follows those movements separately. For a management team, the useful question is what each view explains — and what it leaves out.
Look at the timing
Consider the sequence of activity, invoicing, collection and payment commitments in an illustrative business. Growth can change the timing as well as the amount of work. A simple cash scenario makes those assumptions visible; it does not establish what will actually happen.
Bring assumptions into the review
A review becomes more useful when the team knows which receipts are assumed, which commitments are included and who will revisit the differences. Our 13-week demonstration offers three invented scenarios so you can see the relationship without providing business data.
